The Malone Family
Welcome back to a quick chat with me.
Thought I would start 2022 with taking you back almost a year ago to March 2021 and tell you about my first lifestyle family session with The Malone family from their session at on their Family farm at Armatree NSW. Emma, Doug and beautiful Molly were the winners of my Instagram giveaway when I first started Kirsty Fisher Photography, and they were absolute legends!
Meeting Molly
Emma & Doug had not had photos taken by a photographer since their wedding, and were pretty stoked to have won the the Lifestyle session with me, a chance to update their photos, to tell the story of where they are up to at that time. They were on their farm, as new parents of gorgeous Molly, who was feeling a bit cranky that arvo. Molly's mood did not deter us from going out into the paddock and taking some beautiful photos, that are about their family, and what is going on, and apart of that is that someday kids are moody just like us, and Although Emma & Doug might not frame this photograph of Emma loving Molly, and Molly not having a bar, it is still a memory, that Emma can look back on and remember these days and all the moods of creating a family.
come as you are
Family session are usually wanted by the mum, and not so much the Dad. Farmers are always busy, always got something going on, and have little to no interest in getting on some town clothes and having someone take their photos.
I love that Doug is in stubbies, polo and pluggers ( you can't see them, but their there) He is comfy in what is wearing which makes the session so much better for all, he can be a bit more relaxed and enojoy the time with his family more.
Blokes, a quick wash and change from your workers to your half decent or town clothes that your comfy in is all that is need.
a great lifestyle family session to end your work day
Having your family photos taken, can be a great way to end your work day, mid week or start your weekend. I want to capture you family at your rural home out in the paddock, doing your arvo chores, playing in the backyard or down by the creek. A simple story of your rural lifestyle as it is right now. The choas and the calm of living on the land with kids.
